The Time is Now |
|
It's hard to believe that it's been six years since the voters first chose me to represent them at City Hall. My wife, Hilary, and I are very grateful for the opportunity that you have given us. Tomorrow, this great city will choose new leadership; A new mayor, a new controller, and some new city council members. Please do not forget to exercise your right to vote tomorrow, Saturday, December 12th. In these uncertain economic times, we must be careful to trust only the most experienced and educated people to watch over our city's finances. As the former Budget and Fiscal Affairs Chairman and also an attorney and small business owner, I understand the importance of a budget. Rest assured, you can trust me to handle and guide our city's financial future.
It is very important the citizens of Houston express their voice by voting. I want to remind everyone that if you did not vote in the general election you can still vote in the runoff election tomorrow. It is going to be a very close race, and every vote counts. Please take the time out of your day and vote! To find you election day polling location, please visit www.harrisvotes.org Lastly, I want to say how humbled I am by the support and trust so many people have enlisted in me. My time at City Hall has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. To be in a position to impact the lives of many people, for the better, has been a source of much joy and I would like the opportunity to continue to serve our great city.
